By RUI HU|Nov 01,2019

On October 31, according to Chongqing Municipal Sports Bureau, the 2019 CFA China International Women's Football Championships will be held in Yongchuan from November 7th to 10th. At this competition, women's football teams from China, Canada, Brazil, and New Zealand will gather to compete for the championship.

Yongchuan International Women's Football Championship is jointly organized by the Chinese Football Association, Chongqing Municipal Sports Bureau, and Yongchuan District People's Government. "The four female football teams that came to Yongchuan this time represent the highest level of women's football in the world," said the representative from the Yongchuan government. In terms of the world ranks, Chinese women's football world ranked 16th, the Brazilian women's football team world ranked 11th, the New Zealand women's football world ranked 23rd, and Canadian women's football world ranking is the 7th.

As an international women's football event held by the Chinese Football Association, the Yongchuan International Women's Football Championship was formerly the China International Women's Football Invitational Tournament. Since the game was settled in Yongchuan since 2011, it has attracted 21 women's national teams to participate, and it has become a gold medal in the international women's football field in addition to the Algarve Cup. Because the United States, Norway, Germany, and other strong teams are frequent visitors to the event, it is also known as the "small World Cup" for women's football.

CCTV will broadcast live of the three games of the Chinese team, and the rest of the competition will be recorded. Fans who like to watch the game can go to the Yongchuan District Sports Center to purchase tickets on-site. This year's Yongchuan International Women's Football Championships are 1st class 30 yuan and 2nd class 20 yuan.

Next, Yongchuan will also take the initiative to plan sports and tourism events with significant influence at home and abroad, such as the 2019 International Squash Classic in November this year, and the 2019 Asian U19 15-People Rugby Championship in December. In April 2020, the 6th Chongqing Half Marathon and the Yongchuan International Marathon will be held.
