Chongqing’s reception of tourists once again ranks first among major cities in China. Under this circumstance, Chongqing Global Travel Agents Conference 2019 will begin from November 10 to 15 this year. It is organized by Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development and the People’s Government of Nan’an District. This year, based on incentive policies of the inbound tourism market last year, the original incentive policy was revised and improved. Additionally, the policy of foreigners’ 144-hour transit visa exemption was introduced. Moreover, seven overseas cultural tourism promotion centers will be established this year based on the establishment of 10 overseas promotion centers last year. By deepening the platform role of these 17 overseas promotion centers, the conference will further accelerate the pace of Chongqing's tourism on the international stage.
