A Preview into 2019 Chongqing Talents Conference

Talents have become one of the most important deciding factors in successful modern urban development.

With the determination of pooling talent from both home and abroad and enhancing its high-quality development, Chongqing will hold the 2019 Chongqing Talents Conference (CQTC) at Chongqing Yuelai International Convention Center from Nov. 9 to 10.                                        

CQTC composes of over 30 conferences, forums, roadshows, competitions, and symposiums, which covers topics such as cultivating high caliber personnel, building first-tire universities, promoting big data and smart technology, coordinating urban and rural development and developing biomedicine. It has attracted around 150000 participants to attend, with over 6000 high-end professionals from both home and abroad. The conference will be carried out based on the standards of high quality, effectiveness, productiveness, open, and inclusiveness.

In addition to the heads of international organizations and world-renowned experts, the attendants include more than 30 presidents of well-known universities from home and abroad, more than 60 Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering academicians, 22 high-level talents, as well as dozens of well-known entrepreneurs and founders of unicorn enterprises. It is a feast of brilliant ideas and practice, which also explains the popularity of the conference over the past four years.

CQTC also becomes a hot talent hunting land for employers. Until now, the conference has collected 9411 talents demands from 678 employers of companies and units, among which Doctors demand are 2004. Two hundred sixty-seven projects from 127 companies and units have been submitted to the conference. Meanwhile, it has received signing-up from 1837 projects and 7638 talents, including 908 oversea Doctors and 500 Masters.
