So Beautiful! The First Snow Turns Fairy Mountain into a Fairyland

According to the news from Wulong Fairy Mountain Scenic Area on December 19, after the first snow in this winter, its ground has been covered by deep snow with a maximum depth of more than 10cm.

The snow-clad grassland (66.7km2) and forest (220km2) seem like a beautiful and romantic fairyland of ice and snow.

“Now the daytime temperature of the scenic area is 0-3°C, and the weather forecast predicts that it will witness sharp temperature reduction and widespread snowfall on December 20. By then, the snow will be even deeper.”

The person in charge of this scenic area introduced that, the Fairy Mountain Outdoor Ski Resort is the largest one in southwest China and can accommodate 3,000 people at the same time. Now it has been all open to the public.

Reportedly, in order to provide a warm tour service for tourists, the snow clearing was carried out at 4 am on December 19 to ensure that tourists can smoothly drive into the scenic area.

In addition, the scenic area will provide an all-day free supply of hot water. There will also be direct buses shuttling between the downtown, districts & counties of Chongqing and Fairy Mountain.
