Chongqing —On the morning of Jan 11th, the third session of the fifth Chongqing Municipal People’s Congress opened in Chongqing Great Hall of the People. On the congress, the 2020 Chongqing Government Work Report was released, reviewing the work of 2019, and outlining the goals and tasks for Chongqing in 2020.

On the congress, Chongqing NPC deputies were active to put forward suggestions for the 2020 Chongqing Government Work Report.

In the afternoon, Mayor Tang Liangzhi arrived at the Wuxi County delegation to review the Government Work Report with the NPC Chongqing deputies. At the meeting, deputies were active in giving their reviews and suggestions. There was a warm atmosphere.

Focusing on the main tasks for 2020 proposed in the Government Work Report, the deputies put forward suggestions on speeding up the construction of transportation infrastructure, expanding investment in water conservancy, and optimizing the business environment.

Mayor Tang listened carefully, made notes, and discussed with deputies about the topic. He said it’s happy to listen to deputies' discussions, very analytical, case-based and strong focused. The relevant municipal departments should work together to help Wuxi County solve the difficulties encountered in development actively.

Mayor Tang also gave affirmation to Wuxi County’s achievements in economic and social development. He stressed that Wuxi County should seize the opportunity to speed up development.
