Venue: Chongqing Grand Theatre

In the hope of conveying children and their parents a loving and positive attitude towards cultural relics, the play teaches our kids to respect and protect cultural relics and respect their lives and beings on earth. Creators of the parent-child play Xiaobudian in the Palace Museum invited a senior professional team from the Palace Museum to control the story content in history, cultural relic protection and restoration and cultural inheritance so that child audience can receive an authentic history and aesthetic education with enjoyment.

The performance will be given on January 13 the next year

On Aug. 3, 2018, Beijing Poly Performing Arts Co., Ltd. staged China’s first museology-themed parent-child edutainment play Xiaobudian in the Palace Museum. Delighted and cheerful, child and parent audience flooded into the theater to watch the show. It was meant to be an impressive performance.

In the theater, the play climaxed several times as the audience was absorbed by the play and frequently interacted with the cast. After the show, the children and their parents excitedly took photos with the cast to express their heartfelt love for the performance. We believe both the adult and child audience will give more respect for cultural relics, history, and life after watching the play.
