On January 19, Chongqing Rail Transit (Group) Co., Ltd. announced that during the Spring Festival, the Cultural and Creative Experience Hall at Liziba Station on Metro Line 2 would open to the public. In addition, the external facade of the commercial and residential building where Liziba Station is located has been renovated.
Based on the concept of “rail transportation + cultural tourism,” the Group has actively bred the brand of “Chongqing Rail.” It has built the first tourist service center of Chongqing Rail Transit and Liziba Cultural and Creative Experience Hall at Liziba Station.
The hall consists of three street-facing rooms on the first floor of the commercial and residential building where Liziba Station is located. Eleven areas are set up, covering a total area of about 500 square meters, including the “interactive experience electronic screen area” and the “railway carriage area.”
In particular, the hall not only features cultural and creative products of rail transportation but also displays scores of Chongqing’s intangible cultural heritage products. Visitors can not only have a visual feast of “monorail train passing through a building,” but also learn about Chongqing’s Bayu culture, rail transit culture, and intangible heritage culture.
The first batch of cultural and creative products on display include rail transit vehicle models, bookmarks, fabrics, postcards, the “scholar’s four jewels (writing brush, ink stick, ink slab, and paper),” and souvenir ticket cards of rail transit. All of these products are well-designed, many of which are co-branded with well-known brands, and visitors can choose their favorite ones.
