"Chongqing-based enterprises have been resuming operation in orderly batches by category," said Chen Jinshan, director of the Chongqing Economy and Informatization Commission. "We will work hard to minimize the adverse effects of the epidemic while preventing and controlling the epidemic."

Chongqing- Many leading enterprises in Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality have resumed work and production recently, including a group of leading ones in the two main industries of automobile, electronic information such as Chang'an, Inventec, Quanta, Yibao, and Wistron.
A total of 366 auto enterprises and 240 in the industry of electronic information have resumed their operation as of February 18, and 81 of the 100 key leading companies as of February 19. Moreover, among the municipality’s 277 key industrial enterprises and growing industrial enterprises calculated by independent legal entities, 192 companies that have resumed operation, including continuous production during the Chinese Lunar New Year, accounted for 69.3% of the total.
The orderly resumption of Chongqing's main industries plays a cornerstone role in stabilizing economic growth and expectation in the municipality.

Chang'an Automobile Yubei Factory fully resumed its operation of the welding, stamping, painting, and final assembly workshops Tuesday, implementing strict measures for epidemic prevention.
At present, the large-scale IT production enterprises in Xiyong Comprehensive Bonded Area, Lianglu Cuntan Bonded Port Area, and their supporting logistics providers have resumed production and work. As of February 17, more than 30 enterprises in Xiyong Microelectronics Park operated with over 5,000 employees on duty that day. Inventec has resumed work on February 15. Subsequently, key companies such as Quanta, Foxconn, and Simplo Technology followed suit. In addition, SK Hynix, BOE Optoelectronics, and China Resources Microelectronics are gradually expanding their production capacity.
"The operation resumption of a complete machine factory is associated with dozens of upstream and downstream companies. There is no way for the complete machine factory to resume work if the supporting companies can't keep up," Chen Jinshan said.
What has Chongqing done? Focusing on key leading enterprises and coordinating upstream and downstream enterprises to achieve a coordinated resumption of the industrial chain.
On February 11, six logistics companies in Liangjiang New Area received approval to resume production and work. They all have a common industry stakeholder: Chang'an Ford. "After the resumption of work, we found that a large number of raw materials can't be transported in because of relevant logistics companies, which haven't been approved to resume work," said Xiao Li, senior manager of the logistics department of Chang'an Ford.
Out of his expectation, six logistics companies obtained their approval that afternoon, after a staff member of Liangjiang New Area providing on-site services in the company coordinated with relevant party and prioritized to review the six logistics enterprises involved. Thus, access to the raw materials ensured Chang'an Ford to start several production lines one after another.
"With the further implementation of the Chongqing industrial chain collaborative working mechanism, the production capacity of these main industries will continue to be released," Chen Jinshan said.
Among the companies that have resumed production in Chongqing, intelligent elements cannot be ignored.
In the welding workshop of the Chang'an Automobile Yubei Factory, auto parts were automatically transferred on the production line, and unmanned logistics trolleys were interspersed along the lines on the ground. More than one hundred machine arms were busy on the production line, and the mechanical shaft motor kept turning.
There were no crowded workers. They dotted in different places to operate and monitor the machine.
Similar scenes are common in Chongqing and can also be found in the labor-intensive electronic information industry after intelligent transformation.
Chen Jinshan said that in recent years Chongqing had implemented intelligent transformation in many areas. As of the end of last year, a total of 1280 projects had been intelligently transformed with177 digital workshops and 39 smart factories.
