Many Attractions and Museums in Chongqing Reopened

Many attractions and parks in Chongqing have been reopened as of now. Nanshan Botanical Garden has greeted nearly 10,000 tourists, who were required to buy tickets by appointment on a real-name basis, since its opening on March 13.

On March 16, Chongqing Expo Garden was reopened.

On March 16, Chongqing Expo Garden was reopened on condition that the tourist book tickets via Ctrip and be registered with a good health status. A maximum of 3,000 tickets are sold per day. Also, from the day of its reopening to December 31 this year, all medical workers in China with valid certificates (doctor’s license and ID card, or nurse’s license and ID card) are exempt from the charge.

On March 18, the Yangtze River Cableway resumed operation.

Tickets will be sold in a non-contact and non-cash manner. Tourists can purchase tickets through “Chongqing Cableway Company” on WeChat or the self-service ticket vending machine in the scenic area. A cableway cabin is allowed to carry no more than 20 passengers.

Other exhibitions and museums in Chongqing were also reopened. Chongqing Natural History Museum opened its door to the public from March 18, with business hours from 9:00 to 17:00 except on Mondays. Measures are taken to reduce the density of people in the exhibition hall such as online appointments on a real-name basis, service at separate times, and division of tourists.

Chongqing Art Museum resumed operation on March 17.

Chongqing Art Museum resumed operation on March 17 and will be open at 9: 00-17: 00 from Tuesday to Sunday. Visitors can enter after registering at its entrance with a valid ID and Yukang Code. After its reopening to the public, Chongqing Art Museum will strictly control the number of visitors, keep their information, and impose a time limit. It receives no more than 1,000 visitors per day and no more than 100 visitors simultaneously.
