Recently, the results of the Questionnaire on Citizens' Willingness to Travel After the Epidemic, which was launched by the China Tourism Academy and Ctrip Big Data Joint Laboratory, were released that Chongqing was selected as one of the top ten domestic popular destinations.

More than 100 scenic areas reopened in order

March 25 marked the first day of the reopening of the Former Site of Bai Mansion Prison. Visitors to the scenic area must undergo temperature testing and security checks, scan the "Huiyou Code", show the identity card (its information shall be identical with that of the reservation)... The "restart" of the scenic area also boosted the sales of cultural and creative products.

According to the introduction of a relevant person in charge of the Hongyan Alliance, Bai Mansion and Pine Slope Scenic Area received 353 tourists on March 25, most of them were non-local visitors, and the popularity of scenic areas is rising.

As a matter of fact, the city's Fairy Mountain, Jinfo Mountain, Simian Mountain, Dazu Rock Carvings, Hechuan Fishing City have orderly reopened while taking effective epidemic prevention and control measures. According to conservative statistics, more than 100 scenic areas in the city have reopened, covering various tourism types such as leisure and sightseeing, flower appreciation in spring outing, historical and cultural tourism.

As the epidemic prevention and control situation gradually turned better, the city took multiple measures to revitalize the tourism market.

Recently, the China Tourism Academy and the Ctrip Tourism Big Data Joint Laboratory jointly launched the "2020 Post-epidemic Tourism Big Data Research Project", and released the first collaborative research report - 15 Findings and Trips to be Started: A Survey Report on Chinese People's Willingness to Travel After the Epidemic.

The report collected opinions of nearly 15,000 users from over 100 cities nationwide.

In terms of tourism themes, leisure and vacation rank the first with a proportion of 30%. Among them, the sightseeing tour and city tour are the keywords, ranking top 1 and top 2 with the proportion of 21% and 20% respectively.

In terms of popular domestic destinations, the top 10 are selected as follows according to the percentage of votes: Yunnan, Hainan, Shanghai, Tibet, Beijing, Sichuan, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Chongqing, and Xinjiang.
