On April 2, Yubei District held a promotion activity for recommended cultural tourism routes. Five high-quality routes were unveiled to the public, offering them more choices for outing and flower appreciating.

Yubei District boasts a variety of unique tourism resources, including traditional sightseeing, Bayu culture, rural experience, internet-famous sites, and sports healthcare sites or activities.

With the stunning view of the mirror-like lake, Tongluoshan National Mine Park is expected to open in May. Stone House: Jinzishan Cultural and Creative Industry Park, a showcase of Chongqing-style stone buildings, is under construction, and it may open by the end of this year.

Yufeng Mountain, Fangniuping Village of Cizhu Town, Plum Blossom Eco-tourism Area of Yinhe Village, and Cherry Blossom Area of Dasheng Town, such rural tourism scenic spots have been developed. Rural pilot sites for cultural tourism, including Jiangkou Village in Tongjing Town, Qinglong Village in Dasheng Town, Caoping Village in Gulu Town, and Datianchi Village in Luoqi Town, are in progress.

Focusing on “Nature and Health,” the five boutique cultural tourism routes offer citizens immersive experience.

Jiazhou-Lianglu-Yuelai

Relying on the scenic spots and resources along CRT Line 10, 3, and 6, such as Shin Kong Place, Stone House: Jinzishan Cultural and Creative Industry Park, Outlets, Sanya Bay Seafood City, Chongqing Crocodile Center, Chongqing Creative Park, Shengming Universal City, T2 and T3 of Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, Bijin Park, Chongqing Central Park, Yuelai Riverside Park, and the Expo Garden, this route aims to provide the tourism centered on city leisure and cultural entertainment.

Rural travel

Gulu-Tongjing-Dasheng-Luoqi

Based on Zhoujiashan Bridge, Yinhe Plum Blossom Eco-Tourism, Jiangkou Village, Qinglong Village, Yungui Mountain of Dasheng Town, Zhangbailu Vegetable Base, and Zhangguan Water Cave, Yubei District strives to create a golden tourism route composed of internet-famous sites, Bayu characteristics, and vegetable picking.

Yufeng Mountain-Tongluoshan National Mine Park

In virtue of Tongluoshan National Mine Park and the unique scenic spots (forest trail, bike path, RV camp, jungle, bonsai garden, sharing farm, parent-child garden, and vegetable base) of Yufeng Mountain, this route enables tourists to enjoy food and leisure, internet-famous sites and vegetable picking.

Cizhu-Xinglong

Fangniuping Village in Cizhu Town, Chongqing Xiangchou Museum (featuring the culture of “Bayu Nostalgia”) in Xinglong Town, Lichaowuji in Niuhuang Village, and Xinglong Red Bayberry Base, such resources play a significant part in the vacation- and farming-themed healthcare route.

Tongjing-Longxing

Backed by such developed A-grade scenic areas as Tongjing Hot Springs Town, Longxing Ancient Town, Liangjiang Movie City, and Jihua Park, Yubei aims to offer tourists a characteristic route focusing on hot spring healthcare, folk experience, and extreme sports.
