According to Chongqing University, on April 27, it has begun to prepare for the return of students through a good sweep and disinfection to ensure the safety and health of all. Many of its schools have provided necessary materials for the students.

With the approval of Chongqing Leading Group for Prevention and Control of COVID-19, the spring semester of 2020 in Chongqing’s colleges and universities will start in batches from May 11.

After receiving the relevant notice, Chongqing University began to make preparations for students’ health and safety in the new semester, including cleaning and disinfecting dormitories, opening windows for ventilation, and overhauling electrical appliances.

Dining halls and other public areas are swept and disinfected every day. Everyone must have their body temperature taken at the entrance of dining halls, and only one diner is allowed on every table. Clean tableware is placed in disinfection cabinets and will be taken out by special staff for diners. Warm prompts such as “Wash hands before meals,” “Keep a certain distance away from others,” “No talking,” and “Taking away food is highly recommended” could be seen almost everywhere in dining halls.

Will the quilts go moldy? Rest assured, dormitory managers and counselors have aired them for all students.

Schools have also prepared milk, snacks, daily necessities, epidemic prevention products, and other supplies for students. Those prepared by the School of Resources and Safety include milk, biscuits, and other snacks, masks, tissues, hand sanitizer, etc.
