Liangjiang New Area is speeding up the smart city construction in Chongqing and hammers at creating an international first-class business environment and an efficient and convenient government service environment. On May 6, the Liangjiang New Area Government Affairs Center was officially put into use. In the future, all district-level government affairs services in Liangjiang New Area can be completed here altogether, and government affairs services will be more intelligent.

Providing window service for 1,003 items

The Center is located at Jiagongquyi Road, Liangjiang New Area, with a total floor area of 43,000 square meters, including one 5-story podium building and one 20-story tower, with an underground area of 22,000 square meters, and over 450 parking spaces available.

Highlighting service integration, the Center has set up nine administrative areas, including project construction, enterprise establishment, market supervision, entry and exit, tax service, social affairs, real estate registration, social insurance, and talent. Nineteen units have entered the Center, and 208 window stations have been put in place, providing unified window services for 1,003 items covering government services related to people's life and work, delivering a mode that things can be done "only through one door," "once at most."

In the meantime, by relying on highly intelligent means, the Center has improved government affairs service well.

It has set up a 24-hour self-service area, put in place more than 30 kinds of intelligent equipment such as self-service terminals, filing cabinets, exit-entry self-service endorsement machines. Social security self-service integrated machines, integrated the functions of service evaluation and government affairs consultation, to facilitate the applicants to inquire and apply for government affairs services and relevant certification information, providing 24-hour government affairs services for enterprises and the public.

On top of that, the Center is also equipped with an online audit and supervision office, which can display in real-time and dynamically the core data of administrative efficiencies, such as the amount of work handled, completion rate, and satisfaction, of each professional area, to facilitate management and mass supervision; furthermore, via platforms of "Yukuaiban" (i.e., Chongqing Express Office) and Liangjiang New Area Government WeChat account, 853 related government affairs service items can be declared online, which makes it way easier to get things done.

Exclusive area for talent service

It is worth mentioning that the Center has also set up an exclusive area of 1,100 square meters for talent service. There are five divisions in the area, namely, Talent Service Hall, Talent Face-to-face, Liangjiang Talent List, and Talent Roadshow Hall, which integrate the advantageous resources of enterprises, human resources agencies, and social organizations under jurisdiction to provide "one-stop" introduction and cultivation, and "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" services for various skilled workers.
