The Self-Service Traveling is organized by Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and it is hosted by Nan’an District Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, CQNews, and Chongqing Self-driving Travel Association.
There are lots of magnificent natural sceneries, profound cultural sites, and abundant cultural resources in both Sichuan and Chongqing. Last month, official media platforms in Sichuan and Chongqing pre-heated the event by online activities, sending thousands of tickets for Sichuan and Chongqing scenic spots to the public for free. Moreover, to benefit people of two cities, both cities will jointly carry out Self-Service Traveling. Tourist attractions in Sichuan and Chongqing will provide free tickets or ticket discounts for tourists from Chongqing and Sichuan.

All of them offer a total of 600,000 free tickets for Sichuan tourists, with an estimated discount of more than 50 million yuan. In addition, some scenic spots also provide Sichuan tourists with different degrees of concessions in transportation and entertainment projects. All scenic spots will implement the tour policy of Quantity Limit, Tour Preserving, and Peak Avoiding.

The Qianhu Zang Village at Letong Ancient Town in Ganzi will be free for Chongqing tourists for two years. Some scenic spots, such as Leshan and Mianyang, will be exempted from fees of parking fees and tour guides for Chongqing tourists.
