Chongqing Municipality in southwestern China has endeavored to win the fight against poverty and make a more significant contribution to China's goal of building a prosperous society in all respects as planned. The municipality lifted 114,400 people living in 33 villages over four counties out of poverty in 2019, as the poverty headcount ratio dropped to 0.12%. And that's not all.
