NPC Deputy Zhu Huarong: Multiple Measures to Stimulate the Consumption Potential of the New Energy Vehicle Market

Free charging can directly increase consumers' desire to purchase new energy vehicles, speeding up the development of the industry.

For example, the service charge and parking fee for an average of 100 kilometers of new energy vehicles accounted for 75% of the total cost in Beijing. If the government-managed parking lots directly waive the parking fees and commercial parking lots halve the parking fees, it will be able to promote the soft landing of the new energy vehicle industry after the reduction or cancellation of purchase subsidies.

Moreover, private electric vehicle charging stations are encouraged to be shared with others. At present, the price of private electric vehicle charging stations is the same as residential electricity, without service charges. Compared with public electric vehicle charging stations, private ones are nearly half as cheap. If private charging stations can be shared with others, only charge them the first-grade fees (The higher the power consumption, the more expensive the electricity), and refund the service charge to the station owners, it can effectively reduce the average car cost of private new energy vehicle owners. In this way, it can also promote the development of new energy vehicles, to some extent.
