Chongqing- To feel about the revolutionary history and support the poverty alleviation, the Shandong-Chongqing Research and Experience Event · Hundred Thousand Shandong People Tour Chongqing (the Experience Event for short) officially launched. As the beginning of the Experience Event, the 12-day activity, which was participated in several students of traditional Chinese studies, was wrapped up, from May 16 to 27. The Experience Activity was jointly organized by Chongqing Municipal Committee of Culture and Tourism Development, Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Shandong Poverty Alleviation Coordination Council Chongqing Group, and Shandong Radio and TV Station.

The Experience Event was divided into three courses of study tours: Revolution History, Landscape Chongqing, and Poverty Alleviation, bringing teenagers a tour of patriotism. The crew of the activity deeply visited and explored Chongqing's featured high-quality Chinese revolution cultural resources and the nation-level natural heritage sites, which is represented by Chuanjiang Haozi (the work songs sung by boatmen of various nationalities living along the Chuan Jiang River). Teenagers and students had recited poems and learned about traditional Chinese studies, motivating their love of the country to support the city with poverty alleviation.

The first tour station was White Residence Prison Site and Prison Zhazi, which are the representative historical sites of revolution history, and was broadcast live in real-time through Douyin (Chinese Tik Tok) and other new media platforms. A student quoted a paragraph of Wo De “Zibaishu” (My “Confession”), written by Chen Ran during the revolution period, in the live broadcast. The impassioned poems stimulated the active participation of young people in front of the screen, with more than 100,000 netizens' love, leaving teenagers and children remember this revolution history.

Meanwhile, teenagers and students of the Experience Event found the real scenes in poetry and restored the situation at that time. People online and offline all learned about Chongqing’s history and culture, from the beautiful and amazing sceneries. Also, most natural sceneries can be found in the earlier pieces of literature or scholars, such as Baidi City, Three Gorges, Goddess Peak, and more.

The Experience Event is diverse, with a rich and colorful culture, presenting public welfare. For example, Youyang County has the most poverty-stricken population in Chongqing, with the heaviest task in poverty alleviation. However, Youyang relies on the local beautiful natural scenery, vigorously develops rural tourism, and promotes the prosperity of the industry and the income of the villagers. As one of Chongqing's last batch of key counties for national poverty alleviation and development, it has gotten rid of poverty. At the same time, the amazing karst landforms in Wulong District had shocked teenagers and students of the Experience Event. Wulong District, located in a concentrated and destitute area in the Wuling Mountains, insists on targeted poverty alleviation through tourism, transforming the unique natural scenery into the high-quality resources for tourism development, and embarking on a new path of poverty alleviation in poverty-stricken mountainous areas. Wulong had turned karst landforms, which are not suitable for agricultural production, into tourist resorts.
