In Baihe Village, the Peng Family Residence courtyard is intricately laid out, attractively decorated, and displays the magnificent construction skills of folk artisans.

The Peng Family Residence is among the best-preserved buildings dating from the Qing Dynasty. In 1938, the Republic of China's government moved to Chongqing, and the residence became the research department of the Kuomintang Central Political University.

Foreign guests carefully studied the courtyard relics and listened attentively to their guide who recounted the site's history, frequently nodding in admiration.

Next on the day's schedule was 'Yew' (Hongdoushan) Manor, located in the Qiaoping Mountain Scenic Area at an altitude of 666 meters. It was built in 2005 and officially opened to business in 2009 to inherit Chinese traditional medicine and promote a culture of health.

The resort integrates leisure and tourism with the cultivation of herbs, Chinese medicine, forestry, ecology, and healthy food.

After she arrived at the health resort, South Korean guest Yeon Mihwa went straight for the Chinese medicine experience area. She consulted with the old Chinese doctor, who decided to perform a traditional massage for her, including the practice of acupuncture.

The overseas friends stood and watched the doctor's skillful techniques before trying themselves. 'It's not as painful as you think; it actually feels really good.' Said Yeon Mihwa, who added, there are also many Chinese medicine clinics in her country.

Callum from the United Kingdom also enjoyed the massage techniques of traditional Chinese medicine. 'Chinese massage is completely different from the UK. It feels great!'
