The coverage gives a detailed introduction to the ballet troupe's original performances including Shangri-La, Ripples Across Stagnant Water and some other mordern dances. It also sheds spot light on the troupe's uniqueness of combing the western art with eastern soul.
We conducted an interview with Ms. Liu Jun, the Executive Director and Artistic Director of Chongqing Ballet Troupe to hear about the full story behind the Europen report.
"We have strong will to creat and develop our original performance with uniqueness. Ballet originates from the West, and when it comes to China, it needs to integrate with Chinese art. All the clashes in artistic forms, contents and styles are meant to reach a balance and harmony at the end. An integrated final work with creativity is able to have people feel fresh and new. " said Ms. Liu Jun.
