The Italy Visa Application Center in Chongqing will reopen to the public on August 3, according to the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing.

The Italy Visa Application Center in Chongqing will reopen to the public on August 3.

Currently, only the following six categories of visas will be accepted: re-entry; health care workers and medical researchers; practitioners assisting the elderly; cross-border workers; transport staff; transit passengers; passengers traveling for imperative family reasons.

The opening hours of the visa application center are from 8:00 to 14:00 only one day a week (Monday). The center opens from 8:00 to 12:00 for application submission, and from 12:00 to 14:00 for passport collection. The visa application centers of Italy in Chengdu and Kunming will remain closed until further notice.
