On July 29, the Wulong Furong River Scenic Area billed as the "water karst primitive forest," was officially open to tourists after four-year refurbishing of its cruise ships. Over 300 tourists boarded the boats on that day to witness their launch.

Seven cruise ships set sail and moved slowly on the Furong River.

Afterward, seven cruise ships set sail in sequence. They moved slowly on the Furong River, carrying tourists to enjoy the endless green mountains on both sides of the river, and to experience the visual stimulation of flying waterbirds, hanging stalactites, and flowing cliffside spring and waterfalls.

After four years of upgrading, nine unique sightseeing cruise ships have been added, among which the ichthyosaur-shaped one is particularly fashionable. After the operation of the cruise ships, a total of nine sightseeing cruise ships are responsible for the daily sightseeing tours, with their capacity of 30, 60, 90, and 120. The tour route is from the pier of Furong River to the scenic spot Yuetu Wangyue (about 1.5-hour round trip).

Wulong Furong River Scenic Area has announced the special preferential policy. Specifically, from July 29 to December 31, tourists only need to pay 150 yuan for the ticket package ( original 285 yuan), including the tickets of 5A Furong Cave Scenic Area, Furong River Cableway, Furong River Cruise Ship and Furong River Cable Car, with a price reduction of 47%. Tourists can book the ticket package through the official website of Wulong Tourism, Ctrip, Qunar, and lvmama.
