Hua Shao Kicks Off Live Broadcast Week in Chongqing Consumer Brand Promotion

Chongqing- On August 7th, 2020, the launch ceremony of the Chongqing Consumer Product Live Broadcast Week ‘Yujian Meipin’ (Meet Chongqing Top Brands) was held at Huaxi LIVE Arena in Yudong, Banan District.

Representatives of government, industry, and media were in attendance at the Live Broadcast Week Launch Ceremony.

During the launch ceremony, the C2M Division of Alibaba Group Taobao Business Group and Ali Feixiang Industrial Internet Company held a signing ceremony for the C2M Super Factory Cooperation Agreement for the Chongqing consumer goods industry with representatives from 6 companies.

The agreement has been formulated to promote strategic cooperation between Chongqing Municipal Government and Alibaba Group, enhance the level of smart technology in the Chongqing consumer goods industry, and promote online marketing.

Next, the Chongqing Consumer Goods Industry Innovation Design Institute and the Chongqing Consumer Goods Live Broadcast Base were officially launched during the ceremony, when government representatives unveiled the pair of institutional plaques on stage.

Later on stage, internet celebrity and host Mr. Hua Shao received the title of promotional ambassador for the Chongqing Consumer Brands Live Broadcast Week, awarded by the Municipal Economic Information Commission director Mr. Chen Jinshan at the launch ceremony.

Once the Live Broadcast Week was officially declared open, the first online promotion started at 7pm Beijing time, when 38 products from 31 companies made a grand appearance in the live broadcast room. Hua Shao displayed his connoisseur tastes and vivacious presentation style to fully air the unique flavors, crafts, and quality of Chongqing products to a nationwide audience.

Famous consumer goods and brands promoted during the broadcast included the rice wine of Jiang Xiaobai, popular with young people, the Qiaotou hot pot base, listed as intangible cultural heritage, and the Chen Family hemp biscuit twists of Ciqikou, Lengsuanling Toothpaste, and Tianyou Dairy, which has operated for 90 years.

Multiple broadcast rooms will be used for live shows during the promotional event.

Additionally, the week of live broadcasts will feature agricultural products that serve in poverty alleviation, such as Xiangtanzi mushroom sauce, which received the Madrid International Registered Trademark award and the Tanmeizi spicy dipping sauce made from Shizhu County red peppers.

Live Broadcast Week will continue until August 13. Online viewers can access the broadcast through the Chinese application Kuaishou, and searching for the host Hua Shao.
