Western (Chongqing) Science City has introduced a series of new services such as "Internet Plus," "non-face-to-face approval," "7×24h government," and "non-face-to-face delivery," according to Chongqing High-tech Industrial Development Zone (the High-tech Zone) on August 9. By offering more convenience for people with data, it aims to provide more efficient, convenient, and intelligent government administration services for enterprises and individuals.

This weekend, Liu Miao, who lives in Xiyong, came to the High-tech Zone's Administration Service Center to go through business license registration procedures on a smart government administration service kiosk. "I want to apply for a business license. But I'm often tied up with all kinds of work, so I just cannot find time to handle related procedures. Now, the center has set up a 24/7 self-help area where a dozen of services about starting a business such as a name verification and enterprise registration can be handled on the smart kiosk. It is really convenient."

"Non-face-to-face approval" is a new service introduced by the Western (Chongqing) Science City based on the "Internet Plus." It allows people to go through all approval links online and enjoy self-help approval handling. To provide a self-help approval handling service, the center has set up a 24/7 self-help area equipped with nine kinds of smart equipment such as business license kiosk, self-help endorsement machine, and smart filing cabinet. All the equipment can provide 12 kinds of self-help services such as guide search, online declaration, and online consultancy, making happen "7×24h government".

Besides, the approval results can be delivered non-face-to-face. Based on unified identity authentication and electronic material data collection, the center has carried out cooperation with China Post through electronic signature on free express delivery of approval results. Since the Administration Service Center was put into operation in June this year, 133 approval results have been delivered by mail, and 7,218 affairs have been accepted online through "Yukuaiban." Notably, 89.4% of its affairs were handled online, ranking first in Chongqing.
