In November 2017, the Municipal Economic Information Commission and the Yuzhong District Government jointly launched the construction of a blockchain base following the release ‘Accelerating the Cultivation and Development of the Blockchain Industry,’ and principles stated in the Municipal Government Special Meeting 2018-46.
Yuzhong District is committed to building a blockchain application ecosystem and creating a national-level blockchain industry innovation demonstration park.
Currently, Blockchain Park has secured 30,000 square meters for carriers in the first phase and signed contracts with over 40 companies and institutions such as Inspur and IBM for an occupancy rate exceeding 85%.

The second phase of the blockchain park has a carrier floor space of 100,000 square meters and has signed with major demonstration enterprises such as Humi.com, Venustech, and Beixinyuan.

There are also more than 30 leading enterprises and institutions such as Quchain Technology and Huawei Blockchain.

As a new type of internet company, Inspur covers the four major industrial domains of the cloud data center, cloud service big data, smart cities, and smart enterprise. They provide IT products and services to more than 120 countries and regions across the world. The server ranks third worldwide, first in China, and comes top worldwide in terms of growth rate. Additionally, Inspur Government Cloud has accounted for the largest market share in China for 5 consecutive years.

In the 2019 financial year, over 300 blockchain patents were obtained, and they now lead the industry of blockchain applications in government services, financial technology, and quality assurance.

Since 2015, Inspur has established a blockchain R&D team, then entered into cooperation with China Tower the following year for the use of hyper ledgers, which operate payment networks and solve management issues with the millions of telecom towers.
