It only took 69 days from contract signing to the start of construction of the Western Chongqing Electronic and Circuit Industrial Park. It's the first of its kind in Sichuan and Chongqing. A scheduled 345 days from construction to the start of production, will mark the highest construction speed among its counterparts across China, according to the launching ceremony the Park and Chongqing Hongyao Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. in Rongchang District on August 20.

The Western Chongqing Electronic and Circuit Industrial Park cover an area of 692,000 square meters with a total investment of 15 billion yuan. It can achieve an annual output value of 10 billion yuan and an annual production of 7.75 million square meters of printed circuit boards (PCB) after full operation. The Park is the largest industrial project introduced into Rongchang and the first of its kind in Sichuan and Chongqing. As of August 20, 380,000 square meters of standard workshops and 43,000 square meters of a sewage treatment plant had been built in the Park, with an investment of 2.08 billion yuan.

The project represents the achievements in exploring the markets and integrating resources of Sichuan and Chongqing and implementing the strategy of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle. Chongqing and Sichuan have tended to make the electronic information industry as a trillion-level pillar in recent years. Still, PCB, the cornerstone of this industry, is far from self-sufficient. In 2018, Sichuan and Chongqing required 40 million square meters of PCB, yet only produced 5 million square meters, meeting 12.5% of the demand.

Operated by Sichuan Lvran Group Co., Ltd., the Park in Rongchang has integrated the resources of Sichuan and Chongqing. With the establishment of a service center and technological innovation R&D personnel center, a product testing center, a supply chain financial service center, an exhibition, and sales service center, and a centralized sewage treatment center, a logistics supporting service center, a property management service center, and finance, taxation, and legal service center, it can help enterprises to reduce the operating costs by more than 30% and thus attracts a large number of enterprises from Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and other places. So far, 30 enterprises have settled down, with a contract value of 5.66 billion yuan.
