Jiuchongtian Scenic Spot in Fengdu, an ideal place to get rid of severe heat but rarely known by people, is a countryside resort with the forest coverage rate up to 90%. At an elevation between 1,000 and 1,200 meters, Jiuchongtian is situated at Lianhua Mountain, Shuanglu Town, Fengdu County. This attraction, entirely overhanging the Longhe Gorge, is built with a combination of modern glass-making technology and the form of Shudao (roads to the mountain) in Bashu culture. Adventurous as it may seem, it promises peculiar and beautiful scenery up there.

Two kilometers from where the attraction stands, a natural summer resort lies. This woody, vegetation-covered area is the destination of our incoming camping trip. Liantian Walkway: Being about five kilometers long, it is a glass-made plank road built on the cliffside. Hung above LongheRiver with 900 meters in height from the bottom of the valley, it is the only cliff plank road in Chongqing that offers the most exciting experience. Standing here, you will have a broad vista of beautiful scenery.

Cliff Swing: Dare you play on a cliff swing nearly 1,000 meters high above the valley bottom? It is terrifying to even think about it. To play on the swing, you need to pluck up the courage before asking the staff to hang you on it. Then, a sudden push will thrust you into the blue sky, and you cannot even hear your own scream though it resounds through the whole valley.

Cliff Climbing via Ferrata: It will be a real breathtaking experience that you never had before. It would be best if you were fearless to walk and climb at a few hundred above the ground with gingerly steps and the constant fear of falling into the 1,000-meter-deep chasm.

Forest tribe: It is an ecological amusement park hidden in the woods where both adults and children can have fun. Visitors can feed squirrels at the squirrel park inside! With the unpowered amusement facilities and the trampoline, it is such a fun place for kids to spend a whole day. Besides, the ticket is quite a bargain.
