Chongqing - The 2020 Smart China Expo is fast approaching, bringing with it an entirely new experience as this year, it is being held entirely online.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, this year's Smart China Expo will be held online from September 15^th and finishing on September 17th. Smart China Expo aims to enhance international exchanges and cooperation on big data and smart technology. It is one of the biggest smart technology expos in China hosted right here, in the city of Chongqing. The previous two years, the Smart China Expo was held at the International Expo Center located in Yubei but this year everything is going online bringing an entirely new experience to the expo and potentially opening it up to a much wider and broader audience.

This year’s Smart China Expo will revolve around 4 central topics. Online, Innovation, Special, and refinement. The online model is by far the biggest change for the SCE in 2020, as the ongoing pandemic prevents the event from taking place physically, visitors can experience the opening ceremony, summits, product releases, exhibitions, and events online. Another main topic of the SCE is Innovation. Information Technologies such as Augmented Reality,  webcasting, and holographic projection will be used to create a seamless real-time online Smart Expo and in cooperation with Singapore, will help remove the limitations of time and region. Following the theme “Intelligence: Empowering the Economy, Enriching Life” the third main feature of the SCE specials. Focusing on strategies for intelligent big data innovation, creating intelligent cities, leading high-quality development, and creating a high-quality life. The Fourth Special Feature of the 2020 SCE is the Refinement. To create quality products, the SCE will continue to works towards higher standards, and strive to create new visual and immersive experiences, with richer content, smarter effects, and reaching a broader audience to make the Smart China Expo 2020 Successful and exciting.

More than 500 guests including world-renowned scientists have been invited to take part in this year’s smart China Expo. They will be participating in online activities such as online speeches, online forums, product releases, and more. Over 300 renowned enterprises and high-tech industry giants will attend the exhibitions.  Through virtual modeling technology, mixed Reality, naked-eye 3D new products, new technologies, a new model in the global big data intelligent industry will be exhibited. 6 virtual exhibition areas online: Chongqing Online, Intelligent products, intelligent manufacturing, intelligent application, intelligent technology, and regional cooperation. Two pavilions with the theme of Smart Manufacturing and Smart Life will be set in Lijia Intelligent Park. 

SCE OL 2020 consists of Summit, exhibition, contest, forums, and releases.  iVista Autonomous Driving Grand Challenge is definitely high on the must-see list. 5G is the future. Contests on the 5G topic are also under the spotlight.  Except for the event 5G innovation and development summit, the National Level Zhan Fang Cup 5G Application Contest will focus on 5G cloud XR、5G Ultra HD、 5G+ AI.
