Participants in Shanghai, Chongqing, Chengdu, Beijing, and Guangzhou divisions competed fiercely during the four-day semifinals of the 2020 "Smart China Expo Cup" A Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition on Big Data and Smart Technology. In the end, ten projects stood out for the final to be held in the Yuzhong District of Chongqing.

After four days of competition, ten projects stood out for the final to be held in Yuzhong District of Chongqing.

Teams for the semifinals, brilliant both in background and expertise, were either consisted of industrial leaders, returned overseas talent, or executives from Microsoft, GM, and other large enterprise groups. Most of the projects have gone through rounds of financing, enjoyed international partners, and integrated enterprises, universities, and research institutes. They mainly came from such fields as the Internet of Things, industrial artificial intelligence, functional robots, and big data, highly corresponding to the trend of big data + intellectualization.

To better empower participants, the competition opened maker training camps, inviting industrial experts to offer value-added services related to business plan writing and optimization, roadshow skills, business management, financing and investment, and other challenges faced by startups. Thus, entrepreneurs can improve their abilities to realize dreams; more young people will be encouraged to become the bellwether of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The final will be held on September 16. By then, the top 10 participants from the five divisions described above will compete for the highest prize of 150,000 yuan through a "7+3" model roadshow and defense.
