Yungui Mountain, with an altitude of about 1,000 meters, boasts fresh air and pleasant temperature. On the mountaintop, sit serviced courts and prairie-style tents where people can camp, stargaze or enjoy the sunrise, sunset, or scudding clouds.

Now is right the best time to have an eyeful of romantic sunrises and sunsets at Yungui Mountain. Better still, it is only a 1.5-hour drive away from the city proper, so it is a perfect weekend getaway! Camping at the expansive prairie or the paragliding base comes highly recommended. You can stay overnight at the serviced courts or the prairie-style tents, each coming complete with separate bathrooms. 

Come night, and you can ensconce yourself outside your tent or in a glasshouse, appreciating that star-studded sky while feasting on your nibbles. Seeing the stars flicker in and out of view, you would feel all the worldly worries were gotten off your head. You can thus enjoy yourself until you get sleepy, and then go back to your tent and have a sound sleep.

Even if you are a thrill-seeker, you can still find a lot of fun at Yungui Mountain, where you can paraglide or go-kart. Among others, the STR karting is particularly recommended. With a length of 385 meters and a throw of 20 meters, the track is equipped with a team of nationally renowned coaches and racing drivers. Moreover, it is also full of smooth curves and volatile bends, making it perfect for straight driving, speeding up, sprinting, turning, or drifting. So, it is definitely a good choice for adrenaline junkies.

Ganoderma Mansion at Tianxian Cave

On the way back from the mountaintop lies a mansion called Lingzhi (Ganoderma) at Tianxian Cave. It is the first Ganoderma growing base, and the only lucid Ganoderma growing demonstration base in Yubei District for the time being. In addition to Ganoderma, there also grow other medicinal materials under trees, as well as chickens and peacocks, thereby maximizing space and optimizing planting structure.

Besides, there is also an eco-friendly leisure and holiday center. Home to 20 standard rooms, this over-1,200-square-meter center is well kitted out — food, accommodation, amusement, fishing, you name it. Liaojiawan Ancient Village

Circled by hill and lake with a crisscross of paths and neighborly villagers, Liaojiawan is like an arcadia of China. 

There is also an old well called Longhuai Old Well. With sweet, cool water, it has sustained one generation after another and has become an inspiration for many local beautiful legends. Now, it has been transformed into a scenic spot under protection.
