The Dazu Industrial Internet Platform for Hardware was also released at the event.
Sponsored by the organizing committee of Smart China Expo (SCE) and undertaken by the Chongqing Municipal Economic and Information Technology Commission and the Dazu District People’s Government, The forum was themed “Digital Empowerment · Smart Dazu.”
How can the industrial internet empower SMEs effectively? According to Yu Jianjun, director and senior architect of the Industrial Energy Product Department under China Mobile (Shanghai) Industry Research Institute, the first step is to focus on building an ecosystem of industrial internet platforms.
He believes that industrial internet platforms, the integration of Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Smart Sensor, Industrial Software, and Industrial Technologies, are at the core of industrial internet development. More third-party developers are needed to participate in the building of the ecosystem to meet the diversified needs of various enterprise users.
Huo Weichen, deputy general manager of Yundee, said that the industrial internet platforms mainly serve SMEs in industrial clusters and provide industrial chain-oriented lightweight applications featuring inter-enterprise collaborative operation and production. They help to improve the efficiency of resource allocation and industrial chain collaborative manufacturing, thus enabling the sharing of product resources and manufacturing, service, and innovation capabilities within the region.
