Tencent made a hit at the Smart China Expo Online 2020 (SCE OL 2020).

At the SCE OL 2020, Tencent's multiple products, including smart transportation, smart education, smart community, smart government, and smart medical care, made their debut in the exhibition hall of "a famous smart city." At present, these products have been widely used in various sectors in Chongqing.

Tencent launches Penguin Coaching and accelerates the construction of the largest single data center in Chongqing

In April this year, the southwest base of Tencent Penguin Coaching was set up in Yubei District, Chongqing. Penguin Coaching is a Tencent-owned online school for primary and secondary school students. At present, it has more than 5 million users all over the country.

Compared with other peers, Tencent Penguin Coaching boasts the biggest technical advantage. It can fully apply Tencent's underlying technology into teaching and make the classroom more lively, interesting, and interactive by virtue of AI, image recognition, and voice recognition. At the same time, it can make a more accurate diagnosis of students based on the advantage of massive data to push more accurate learning plans.

Tencent has deployed multiple core businesses since it set up its southwest headquarters base in Chongqing in 2018. For example, the phase I Tencent Cloud Computing Data Center located in Shuitu Town has been put into use. Phase II officially started construction in April this year, with an additional investment of 4.5 billion yuan. The total investment in the two phases will exceed 10 billion yuan. After completion, it will reach a total capacity of 200,000-plus servers, making it the largest single data center in west China.
