While stepping up production, the emphasis is placed on security assurance. In the recent Smart China Expo Online 2020, Compal signed a contract with the Liangjiang New Area to introduce a new smart electronic pen product manufacturing project of a world-renowned brand with a total investment of 1 billion yuan, in a bid to form a smart electronic pen manufacturing center with an annual capacity of 5 million. In so doing, Chongqing, especially Liangjiang New Area, can further enhance the whole industrial chain layout of "chips, LCD panels, intelligent terminals, core components, and IoT."

In recent years, Liangjiang New Area has prompted the in-depth integration of the Internet, big data, and artificial intelligence with traditional industries. It has taken solid steps in industrial restructuring, transformation and upgrading, making headway in high-quality development. From January to August this year, industries' output value above designated size in the Liangjiang New Area increased by 9.2%. The automobile industry's output value increased by 16.3%, and that of the electronics industry increased by 7.2%.
