For example, Chang'an Automobile Company Limited sold 205,543 vehicles in September, a new monthly sales record this year, up 28.6% year on year. The sales volume of UNI-T, the first product in the UNI sequence, reached 10,601 in September, up 4.1% from the previous month. Since its launch this June, UNI-T has seen the monthly sales volume of over 10,000 for three months in a row, bringing its cumulative sales to 42,184.

Besides, 153,039 Chang'an series Chinese brand cars were sold in September, up a whopping 31.9% year on year. Total sales from January to September reached 1,034,204, up 12.1%, which means that the sales volume of Chang'an Automobile's self-developed products has exceeded one million this year.

Han Tingting, director of Chang'an UNI Innovation and Operations Center, told the reporter from cqwb.com.cn that the entire system, from the early product planning to the production, promotion, and services, is supporting UNI-T in better serving the needs of consumers and keeping in line with their preference.

Ye Pei, vice president of Chang'an Automobile, said that in terms of the follow-up high-quality development and innovative development of Chongqing's automobile enterprises, including their intelligent technology and new energy technology, Chongqing Municipal People’s Government had put forward lots of plans on how to build the platform. Enterprises will participate in these plans to build the platform together and make good use of the platform to achieve rapid and high-quality development.

Chongqing Economic and Information Technology Commission introduced that in the future, the city will make more efforts to accentuate green, intelligent, high-end, and branded development and give enterprises greater support in order obtaining, talent introduction, technological innovation, and other aspects. It's slated to advance the transformation and upgrading of Chongqing's auto industry faster for high-quality development and strive to be among the strongest in the country in new energy and smart connected automated vehicles by the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan.
