Chongqing- On October 5th, the large-scale culture and tourism promotion activity “2020 Chongqing Showcase” with a focus on Chongqing High-tech Zone was live-streamed. Kui Shang, Director of the Management Committee of the High-tech Zone, led the online viewers to embark on a future journey of the Western (Chongqing) Science City through real-time interactions and VCR. The result of live stream was outstanding, with more than 20 million viewers participated and 2 million likes received.
At the beginning of the live stream, Shang went straight to the topic and introduced the talent recruitment, policies, industrial planning and layout of the High-tech Zone, as well as the new blueprint of the Western (Chongqing) Science City. He invited the world to “walk into the Science City, invest in the Science City, and establish the Science City” with Chongqing. According to Shang, the Science City will continue to enhance the capacity for collaborative innovation and development, and accelerate the creation of a scientific and technological innovation center with national influence.
Since the beginning of this year, Chongqing High-tech Zone has focused on the new generation of information technology, advanced manufacturing, health, high-tech services and other leading industries, continuously gathering innovative resources, improving the industrial ecology, creating a first-class innovation ecology, and cultivating new drivers of development for the West (Chongqing) Build a solid foundation for the Science City.
Meanwhile, Shang introduced Hailan Yuntian Resort, Beidi Summer Palace Hot Spring Resort at the High-tech Zone, and other tourist boutiques, local cultural and creative products. Specifically, the Science City will provide users with one-stop food, housing, travel, shopping and entertainment services for different industries. Shang added, many high-tech work, including “Cloud Cultural and Tourism Museum” and “District and County Cultural Tourism Boutique” will also be launched, with an aim of fully showing the the creativity and vitality of the high-tech zone.
From 5G robots, 3D-printed supplies to far-reaching medical advances, Shang used “informative and entertaining” to describe the High-tech Zone. “There are a total of 43 contracted projects in the Western (Chongqing) Science City from the 2020 China Expo Online, with a total investment of 101.24 billion yuan,” said Shang. “The implementation of a series of high-tech projects will bring together the world’s top smart industries and build a science city.”
This year, Chongqing High-tech Zone will also build a number of high-level scientific and technological research and innovation centers, centering on the construction of basic research, application research, development research and other R&D innovation platforms for universities, institutes, and enterprises.
The High-tech Zone will lay out the construction of large scientific installations, large scientific projects, and national Class-level laboratories, which will further enhance the original innovation capabilities of Chongqing High-tech Zone and build the Western (Chongqing) Science City into an important growth pole for high-quality development and a new innovation-driven engine.
