With a history of more than 600 years, the ancient town of Longxing embodies the traces of time and the trend of the boom. The ancient town is the a-few-minute drive from the picturesque Liangjiang Avenue, with high-grade buildings, high-standard factories, and high-quality landscapes on both sides of the road. This is the Longxing Industrial Development Zone, which has experienced ten years of vicissitudes and is gaining momentum for flourishing.

Today, Longxing Industrial Development Zone will firmly implement the new development concept, and actively integrate into the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and the Yangtze River Economic Belt, to set foot on a new journey in the Liangjiang New Area. These efforts will bolster Liangjiang New Area to build itself into a smart city hub, an inland portal for opening-up, and a pioneer with top-notch industries. Within three to five years, Longxing will endeavor to be a new model for future cities.

With superior geographical conditions, it is only a 20-minute drive from Jiangbei International Airport, a 15-minute drive from Guoyuan Port, and a 10-minute drive from high-speed rail stations with direct access to coastal areas. With its unique geographical advantages, Longxing is wedded to building a large transportation system with internal and external connections, a gathering place for domestic and foreign logistics capital, and a new hub for opening-up.

The Longxing Tunnel under construction is one of the key municipal-level projects, with a total length of 5.35 kilometers and a total investment of 2.357 billion yuan. The tunneling is currently progressing smoothly, with only 60 meters left to be completed. It is expected to be open to traffic in May 2021, when the driving time from Longxing to Jiangbei Airport will be shortened to about 15 minutes. The sixth vertical line of fast roads is under construction, with half of the construction of subgrades and bridges completed. After it is completed and opened to traffic, Longxing will be seamlessly connected with Nan'an District and Banan District.

Up to now, Longxing has a total of 146 kilometers of roads built and 58 kilometers of roads under construction, basically constituting the traffic network of "six horizontal lines and seven vertical lines." According to the person in charge of Longxing Industrial Development Zone, logistics and e-commerce enterprises such as Mapletree, Vailog, BAIC CCL, Vipshop, and Maoning have settled in because of the favorable traffic environment.

In addition to the opening of traffic, taking the opportunity of hosting the Chongqing Division of 2023 AFC Asian Cup, Longxing Industrial Development Zone will build a high-quality and high-level football stadium. It will regularly organize activities to catalyze the development of commerce, service, and transportation, to be the new center of international competitions in Chongqing and even the whole country. Currently, Chongqing Longxing Football Stadium has entered the stage of foundation construction. Apart from that, Longxing will also make full use of its geographical advantages such as its proximity to Jiangbei International Airport, Guoyuan Port, and China Railway Express (Yuxinou) to strengthen interactive development and create port-centered industries with its own characteristics.
