The Smart City Pavilion was opened to the public on September 15, during the 2020 Smart China Expo Online. Despite the closure of the event, people still swarm to the venue every day.
On the afternoon of October 14, the Smart City Pavilion is thronged with people, who were taking pictures. Technologically supported by Tencent T-day, the Pavilion not only highlights digitalization and intelligentialization, but also demonstrates the natural beauty of Chongqing.
High technologies are everywhere.
Based on features of the Two Rivers and Four Riversides, it presents classic historical moments created by smart Chongqing people with technologies. Furthermore, scenes about the smart life turn the Pavilion into an epitome of the future smart city.
The exhibition hall comprises such zones as Smart Communities, Smart Government Affairs, Smart Education, Smart Poverty Alleviation, Smart Ecology, Smart Healthcare, Smart Transport, and Smart Cultural Tourism, which are closely connected to Chongqing people's daily life. Helped by technologies, visitors can understand changes to their lives to be made by Tencent's smart city solutions.
How to receive medical treatment more easily? The answer seemingly lies in the QR code.
Since its opening, the Smart Healthcare zone has attracted almost all visitors.
In the AI consulting room, users got an e-health card just by scanning the QR code. After taking a picture, they obtained a report on posture and correlated suggestions on correction, by virtue of the Tencent Yidian smart posture review technology.
Tencent Miying, the first AI-supported auxiliary diagnostic system of the company, was another exhibit in the zone. It can complete AI diagnosis within seconds, facilitating doctors to identify and predict 700 odd diseases more accurately and efficiently. When fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic, cabin hospitals in Hubei province was greatly empowered by the 7 CT scanners with the Miying system.
Housing and education, most concerned by the public, will see great changes because of smart technologies. In the Smart Communities zone, visitors found that they could precisely locate people who throw litter about with just one button, as long as surveillance cameras carry Tencent's smart detection system for high-rise littering.
Posture identification and VR360 video-related technologies enable immersive learning. The powerful immersive media system and VR360 video-related technologies, developed by the Tencent Media Lab (TML), realize an immersive teaching experience. Visitors can enjoy this just by raising their hands.
Smart technologies are also expected to improve transport. The Eco Auto Link, which is based on super ID, AI, big data, and LBS capabilities, can discover drivers' needs and offer smart services according to surrounding environments. With the digital voice assistant Tencent Xiaowei around, cars can adopt self-driving mode.
According to people trying the smart device at the Pavilion, Tencent Xiaowei is even able to offer information about scenic areas asked and prepare personalized travel plans, greatly easing travel anxiety.
Cool technologies have drawn a slew of people to the Lijia Smart Park. The Smart City Pavilion is still opened to citizens for free by appointment.
