Chongqing- On November 2, the press conference of the 59th National Pharmaceutical Machinery Exposition and China International Pharmaceutical Machinery Exposition (the CIPM Expo for short) was held in Chongqing International Expo Center. According to the conference, the expo will begin from November 3 and last until 5, inviting the public to visit the expo in Chongqing International Expo Center.

As one of the key support exhibitions by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, the CIPM Expo is recognized by this industry as a professional, international, and large-scale exhibition. Meanwhile, it is also a communication platform for the pharmaceutical equipment industry, integrating trade and seminars.

The CIPM Expo for this year will use all the venues of the Chongqing International Expo Center, therefore, getting a larger scale and more booths than the previous one. There are more than 200,000 square meters of exhibition area, with 1,306 exhibitors and 10,391 booths. Besides, it is expected that there will be around 80,000 visitors during the three days, under pandemic prevention and control.

Launch the CIPM Expo in Chongqing six times

Moreover, as a large-scale national tour exhibition, this is the sixth time that the CIPM Expo has chosen to land in Chongqing.

Since the opening of the Chongqing International Expo Center in 2013, the CIPM Expo had arrived here, with 130,000 square meters of exhibition areas at that time and it has gone up to 200,000 square meters of areas, with the number of exhibitors has increased from over 800 to more than 1,300 for this year. At the time, Chongqing International Expo Center is constantly developing and growing to achieve the goal of being the best exhibition venue in China. The exhibition economy of this city has also achieved a qualitative leap. For example, the direct income of various exhibition activities in Chongqing was RMB 21.38 billion in 2019, and the driving consumption reached RMB 192.42 billion.

At the conference, Wang Gaole, director of the exhibition department of China Association for Pharmaceutical Equipment, said that the reason why the CIPM Expo was held in Chongqing six times and landed in the Chongqing International Expo Center was that the CIPM Expo continuously expands its scales while the facilities, team quality, and service quality of the Chongqing National Expo Center are constantly improving and improving.

“The most prominent feature of the CIPM Expo is the pharmaceutical machinery’s exhibition, which requires a lot of heavy trucks, thus, placing high requirements on the hardware conditions of the venue. Meanwhile, these requirements, including exhibition halls, transportation, logistics, and more, can be easily met in Chongqing International Expo Center,” said Wang, “Afterward, the service quality there, especially in terms of government affairs coordination, which can provide the best service quality for our needs. More importantly, as an important strategic fulcrum for China’s Western Development, many different government departments of Chongqing have given great efforts to develop the exhibition industry. There will be more than 80 online and offline live streams of international forums and technical exchange meetings during the CIPM Expo this year.

According to the press conference, the expo will present production equipment, packaging equipment, engineering purification and environmental protection equipment, testing and laboratory equipment, and supporting equipment in different fields such as western or traditional Chinese medicine. In addition, the CIPM Expo has become an important procurement platform for the industry. It not only covers almost all well-known pharmaceutical equipment companies in China but also international famous companies participate.

The international exhibition area of ​​this exhibition is about 40,000 square meters, with 515 exhibitors from Germany, the United States, Japan, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, France, South Korea, India, Italy and other international and regional companies, such as Körber, FETTE, Siemens, and other world-renowned companies. Two sets of equipment from Körber Pharma will meet their Asian debut at the expo. Also, FETTE will hold a new product launch event.
