Chongqing- The 2020 Chongqing Talents Conference will be held from November 21 to 22 and it will be the highest level of talent recruitment event in Chongqing, according to a press release held by the Information Office of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government on November 4.

Chen Yuanchun, Director of the Chongqing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, said that the conference will be held in both online and offline forms. The official websites of Chongqing Talents Conference and Chongqing Talents will act as the main platforms for online activities, while the Chongqing Yuelai International Convention Center will act as the main venue for offline activities, and several sub-venues will also be set up in the relevant districts and counties.

Chen introduced that the purpose of the Conference is to promote the development of the city’s talent resources, allowing more talents to understand better about different job opportunities and current market trends in Chongqing.

The Conference serves as an international cooperation platform, integrating talent exchange and connection, as well as potential project cooperation. This also serves as the first conference, with the participation of the Sichuan Provincial Talent Work Leading Group, to co-organize the event.

The conference is divided into three sections, including important events, talent-led development events, and talent project introduction and negotiation activities. It also involves the other 17 events, involving the opening ceremony, guest keynote speeches, Construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and Western (Chongqing) Science City Summit Forum, National Post-Doctoral Academic Exchange and Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle Innovation and Development Forum, 2020 Unicorn Enterprise Chongqing Summit, New Era Western Development Talent Development Summit, Municipal-School Cooperation, and Innovation Development Seminar, etc.

The "Talent Cloud Fair" and the other six talent project introduction and negotiation activities were launched in July. They will also continue until December this year. Important guests from domestic and foreign political circles, business circles, science and technology circles, education circles, medicine and health circles, and finance circles will visit the venue to participate in the events.

In addition, more than 30,000 domestic and foreign high-end talents, university graduates, project team representatives, and all kinds of talents will gather in Chongqing through an online platform to discuss future development plans and share thoughts about potential cooperation opportunities.
