Chinese “Coachella” – Strawberry Music Festival held in Chongqing

Hip-hop, rock, country music, retro disco... you can find all the music genres at Strawberry! As the Chinese version of “Coachella,” Strawberry Music Festival has been held in China's inland cities for 10 years, organized by Modern Sky. This year, Strawberry brought Dada band, Wutiaoren, Tizzy T, and other musicians gathered in Dadukou District, Chongqing, from Nov. 7 - 8.

There were three stages, including the Strawberry stage, the Yangtze River stage, and the LOVE stage. The Yangtze River stage invited 12 groups of musicians from southwest China to show their cultural features and styles in a two-day performance.

Strawberry Music Festival

This year is the 2nd time for Dadukou district to held Strawberry. It has attracted about 30,000 music fans who participated last year and 6.9 million views on Weibo (a social media like Chinese Twitter). It is worth mentioning that Dadukou will continue to hold nice cultural shows like Strawberry, Midi, and Chunlang to promote national music brands and artistic phenomena.
