The first Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle Summit on Business Associations Cooperation recently kicked off in Beibei District, Chongqing, November 1. Private business owners and heads of business associations from Sichuan and Chongqing dived into cooperation for mutual development based on the theme of "Concerted Efforts by Business Associations of Chengdu and Chongqing to Advance the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle."
The first Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle Summit on Business Associations Cooperation recently kicked off in Beibei District, Chongqing.
This event has provided a cooperation platform for business associations of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, signaling their new step in exchanges and cooperation.
To strengthen the guidance for private businesses of Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle to pursue better economic development of Sichuan and Chongqing in a faster way, business associations from the two sides, upon mutual discussion, jointly issued a cooperation proposal. Li Biao, Vice Chairman of Sichuan Federation of Industry and Commerce and Chairman of Haite Group, read the proposal that the two places will maximize the strategic opportunities to build consensus on coordinated development, deepen mutual assistance and coordination to jointly make a successful summit, jointly build cooperation mechanisms to promote the integrated development of private businesses and gather respective resources to propel regional economic development.
Chen Fang, Vice Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Vice Chairman of CPPCC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Chairman of Sichuan Federation of Industry and Commerce,, cited Sichuan and Chongqing are connected by mountains and rivers and shared by similar culture. They have conducted frequent exchanges on cooperation in investment, demonstration areas, and cooperation mechanisms. The two sides' two sides' mutual investment of private businesses covers dozens of sectors,, including electronic information, automobile and motorcycle parts, intelligent manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and real estate development. According to preliminary statistics, over 50,000 Chongqing-invested private businesses in Sichuan and over 100,000 Sichuan-invested private businesses in Chongqing.
Expressed by Li Jing, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee and Director of United Front Work Department of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee, this summit focuses on the deep exchanges for win-win cooperation of business associations of the two sides. By providing a sharing platform for private businesses and business associations of the two places, the latter are encouraged to play a greater role in guiding private businesses to deepen cooperation and boost the private economy's coordinated development. Moreover, Sichuan and Chongqing will make services more efficient and create a better business environment to provide higher quality and more convenient services for deep exchanges among their business associations and win-win cooperation of their private businesses.
