Chongqing- Chongqing High-Tech Zone released its science city talent development strategy and invited global talents to join during a summit on Wednesday. The 2020 Chongqing Talents Conference-Western (Chongqing) Science City Talent Development Summit and China Chongqing Ninth Human Resources Forum aim to build an exchange platform for advanced human resource management experience and pool talents for the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and the Western (Chongqing) Science City.

Talents for four leading industries

Collaborative innovation, integration of scientific and technological resources will be promoted in the science city, centering on the four leading industries of the new generation of information technology, health, advanced manufacturing, and high-tech services.

The science city will focus on the four leading industries to attract talents and provide support policies for high-level talents or technological innovation enterprises. It is planned to attract more than 20,000 high-level talents in the next three years in a phased way. It is also planned to recruit more than 500 postdoctoral fellows, 3,000 doctoral candidates, and 15,000 masters within three years, with targeted recruitment for research directions such as artificial intelligence, microelectronics, and biomedicine.

Meanwhile, the science city has formulated support policies covering talent support, innovation support, and financial support to introduce talents.

The science city is home to 28 universities, including Chongqing University, 169 municipal and above-level research and development platforms such as state key laboratories and new high-end R&D institutions, nearly 200 high-tech enterprises, 14 industrial parks such as Xiyong Micro-Electronics Industrial Park, two A-level national incubators.

Industry Park of Human Resources Service coming to the science city

At the end of this year, Science City Park of Industry Park of Human Resources Service will open.

Chongqing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and Chongqing High-Tech Zone will build the park, the second national-level human resource service industrial park in China. Designed with multiple functional areas, it will attract global high-quality human resource service organizations and provide a full range of large and key enterprises around the science city with staff recruitment, training, big data analysis, and information platform construction.

In addition, there was a signing ceremony for the introduction of talents and projects in the science city.
