Chongqing Big Data Achievement Transfer and Transformation Centre was officially established on November 27.

The Centre will build a resource sharing platform focusing on the development of Chongqing's big data industry and the needs of big data enterprises, and establish a high-value achievement library for a number of selected scientific and technological achievements with high technology maturity and great market prospects.

It will also carry out offline and online release of scientific and technological achievements and technology supply and demand matchmaking to facilitate the transformation of domestic and foreign big data application achievements in Chongqing.

"We focus on such areas as smart government affairs, smart transportation, smart logistics, smart education, smart healthcare, smart urban construction and management, smart disaster prevention and control, and smart environmental protection," said a relevant head of Yizhiwang. "We will give full play to the role of Yizhiwang as a 'one-stop' platform for scientific and technological innovation services, and conduct activities such as project roadshows and technology matchmaking, to promote the transfer of achievements."

Moreover, the Centre will work closely with the National Southwest Centre for Technology Transfer.

The Centre will take Sichuan and Chongqing big data enterprises' demand for key generic technologies into account and rely on the advantages of Chongqing Academy of Science and Technology in the development of Yizhiwang, a scientific and technological innovation platform, incubation services, and professional team.

Furthermore, the Centre will carry out scientific and technological innovation services such as project roadshows of Chengdu-Chongqing big data applications, project matchmaking, project application, project promotion, policy interpretation, technology contract registration, technology development, technology finance, and business incubation, thus facilitating the development of Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.
