The Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne (OCC) is known as the Chevaliers of Champagne amongst wine lovers in China. The fraternity's history can be traced back to 1656 when the Sun King Louis XIV reigned as King of France.
Three hundred years later, initiated by several influential figures in the Champagne region, the OCC was revived in 1956 and is now officially endorsed and supported by Le Comite Inter-Professionnel du Vin de Champagne (Comité Champagne).
