The telecom industry in Chongqing has formulated key reform measures, including the further communication integration between Chengdu and Chongqing and inter-regional services, to pursue the development of the Chengdu-Chongqing's Economic Circle and highlight the integrated development.

The telecom industry will promote the shared access of China-Singapore (Chongqing) Dedicated Channel on International Internet Data, encourage Sichuan and Chongqing enterprises, and accelerate efforts to build the industrial Internet covering Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and radiating five western provinces.

The target is to promote the implementation of the Xinghuo · Blockchain Network in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle with joint efforts.

The Xinghuo · Blockchain Network, as a supernode for state-level blockchain and the new infrastructure for collaborative innovation of industrial Internet, was officially signed and settled in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area this September.

The telecom industry will also promote the inter-provincial application for family mobile numbers in Sichuan and Chongqing, strengthen their operation collaboration in telecom services, build a service communication platform for both places, make continuous efforts in package design and connection, as well as the collaborative introduction of plans and unified service standards, and build a standardized communication service system and product system.

Aside from those key measures, the telecom industry will break down barriers to the independent operation of business supporting systems between provinces and cities.

This involves unifying the deployment and implementation of cross-regional telecom services closely related to customers' daily lives and encouraging three service providers (China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom) to phase out long-distance charges landline calls in Chongqing and 15 cities of Sichuan.

In particular, residents from two cities can benefit from using a lower use-cost in information communication in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.

With a series of inter-regional services, the telecom industry will smoothly build a communication service platform for both places, promote the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle's integrated communication development, and create important growth drivers of high-quality development in western China.

Those measures are of great significance for building a strategic pacesetter for opening up in inland China.
