Founded in August 2019, the Alliance aims to build a comprehensive service system combining online and offline modes, provide support for the application and implementation of the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Dedicated Channel on International Internet Data, and support the cooperation negotiation and business launching of potential projects in China and Singapore in an all-around way.

The Alliance comprises 101 members from China and 86 from Singapore, and most of them are engaged in the ICT field. During the Smart China Expo Online 2020, the China-Singapore Connectivity Channel International Roadshow and Industrial Transformation Center were officially inaugurated. It has staged 19 project roadshows and cooperation negotiations and enabled the signing of six enterprises.

In addition, "China-Singapore Connectivity Channel," the online one-stop service platform for Singaporean enterprises to come to Chongqing, has entered the public testing stage. It has gathered 575 enterprises and 48 service agencies and launched more than 600 services. The Alliance will provide long-term negotiation services for Chinese and Singaporean enterprises based on the platform after its official launch.

The third batch of JIDF project applications was officially launched in December 2020. This time, the applications focus on technology innovation projects using artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, virtual reality, robotics, and other emerging technologies, as well as information technology service projects around China-Singapore cooperation and innovative application projects based on the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Dedicated Channel on International Internet Data.

The project teams participating in the roadshow expressed their hope to rely on the online platform "China-Singapore Connectivity Channel" and the offline integrated service center for Chinese and Singaporean enterprises to promote resource sharing and advantage complementation for enterprises in both places. Moreover, they are looking forward to finding partners to advance their projects' launch and rapid development.
