Nothing Invisible Trendy Art Exhibition started in Chongqing Times Museum at Bloomage LIVE Yudong. A total of 25 young artists from China, the United States, South Korea, etc., contributed to it, of which many are winners of domestic and international art awards.
The exhibition consists of three parts: Breaking a New Path with Pens, Drawing a Colorful World, and Interesting Things Recorded by Cameras. Two hundred seven works are from photography, installation art, light interaction, videos, graffiti, drawing, and other fields. The immersive and interactive scene created especially for art museums shapes a bright and vibrant artistic space.
Create with artists
Apart from enjoying artistic works, visitors will also become a part of some interactive works. For example, Ma Jin set up a huge slide in the form of a vertical character at the museum, inviting visitors to play and draw with the mark pens put beside it. Finally, the slide will become a work finished together by the artist and the public.
How will you feel when standing in the indoor flower rain? Wang Lue's work, Cells of Dream, created a world of flowers, and visitors can build it with flowers.
Yan Yipeng focuses on the relationship between humans and nature, such as damage to the environment and responses of nature. He integrated art with interactive installations: blue lights interwind; chain reactions will be triggered as soon as people enter the space. It brings not only visual impact but also a sense of participation.
Surprises brought by the integration of trendy art and local elements
Artists injected local elements, such as urban landscape and dialectal words of Chongqing, into their works.
It's the first time for NySomeTimes from Shanghai to visit Chongqing, and she is fascinated with Chongqing culture. The artist covered space with fluorescent graffiti of her IPs while setting a mahjong table inside. The funniest part is that you should turn off the lights to feel the surprise.
Yin Hui from Chongqing embedded the landscape of the city in her works. She re-created Huashengyuan Golden Cake Dream Kingdom Park based on her imagination, offering a new visual possibility.
Visitors can have a novel and amazing experience in vision, hearing, and touching from this unusual exhibition. It will run till April 5 and open during the Spring Festival holiday (February 11-14: 11:00-17:00; February 15-17: 10:00-20:00). Children under 1.2 meters, seniors over 60 years old, and people with disabilities can visit the exhibition free of charge.
