Chongqing - The 2021 China Software Industry Annual Conference, kicking off on April 7, revealed an array of awards, including 2020 Excellent Entrepreneurs in China's Software Industry, 2020 Outstanding Entrepreneurs in China's Software Industry, and 2020 Outstanding Solutions in China's Software Industry. Xiantao International Big Data Valley, located in Yubei District of Chongqing, was awarded "2020 Most Dynamic Software Park in China".

The conference was sponsored by China Software Industry Association, under the theme of "New Era of Digital Economy: Software Industry Empowers High-quality Development," to figure out new trends and opportunities in the software industry during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. Attendees were from competent departments, local departments of industry and information technology, research institutes, local associations, software companies, and media.

According to the Chongqing Xiantao Data Valley Investment Management, Yubei District has been developing software and information service industrial clusters worth hundreds of billions of yuan in recent years. In response to that, Xiantao International Big Data Valley spares no effort to build a famous software park. It has established an industrial chain for software and information service, with Huawei (Chongqing) DevCloud Innovation Center as the leader. Xiantao International Big Data Valley has also attracted UniCloud Construction Science and Technology, ThunderSoft, and other leading companies to settle down here; developed such local famous innovative companies as Listen (Chongqing) Data Technology and Wu Qi Technologies; introduced Chongqing Western Big Data Advanced Application Research Institute (State Information Center), BGI Genomics, and other R&D institutions and innovative platforms. As a result, it basically shaped a special software park ecosystem, which incorporates leading companies, public platforms, industrial applications, talent training, and innovation incubation.

Additionally, Xiantao International Big Data Valley will strive to promote the construction of software and information service industrial clusters worth hundreds of billions of yuan, make greater efforts to develop key software companies of Chongqing, continuously improve service offering capabilities of software platforms, and support the development of software and information service industry in Yubei District.
