Dazzling yet Adorable: Drone Views of Chongqing’s ‘Owl Overpass’

Chongqing - "A pair of big piercing eyes, two stiff and erecting ears, and a reddish triangular mouth..." Hearing this description might make you think about a cute puffy owl, right? Well, actually, no. Let me introduce you to the newly emerged photographers' favorite spot, the Erlang Overpass in Chongqing's Jiulongpo District, which is currently on the trending lists of many social media platforms.

It's been reported that the Chongqing Erlang Overpass is an important thoroughfare hub encompassing the previous Erlang Highway and the new Chengdu-Chongqing Expressway, which has greatly shorten the commute distance between the two megacities in Southwest China.

Recently, heavy media coverage has been shifted to this overpass because some fervent netizens discovered by a random drone fly above here that the overall design of Erlang Overpass bears uncanny semblance to a staring owl, which ultimately led to its being known as the "Owl Overpass" on the internet.
