’13th Bayu Sight’ Rooftop Teahouse Makes Addition to Testbed2 Cultural Landscape

Chongqing- A new rooftop teahouse called the 13th Bayu Sight has opened at the popular tourist attraction of Testbed2 in Chongqing. Tourists can experience Chinese tea etiquette and learn about the cultural heritage of Chongqing through local artisanal products to be displayed in the forms of exhibitions and public talks.

Testbed2 is a cultural innovation space and a tourism hotspot close to E'ling Park in Chongqing. The site was once a banknote printing factory in the 1940s but is now a renovated attraction that offers a range of independently run exhibitions, specialty products, bookstores, restaurants, experiences, and viewing platforms over the city.

The Chongqing tourism trail has three sets of 12 Bayu sights themed on natural beauty, human culture, and urban landmarks, and the choice of 13th Bayu sight as a name for the teahouse was inspired by the expansive city view seen from the rooftop garden.

As the teahouse recently opened to the public, we received an invite to learn more about the experiences on offer and check out the eastward view of Chongqing over the Yangtze River.
