On April 23, 2021, the "Wuling Secret Area" Folklore and Eco-tourism Resort held a launch ceremony for the "12 Two-hour Periods of Wuling" driving tour brand of the Wuling Mountains and a series of theme activities at Le Meridien Chongqing.

At the ceremony, the "12 Two-hour Periods of Wuling" driving tour brand was launched, covering the landscape, food, and cultural lifestyles of the Wuling Mountains. The scenic areas of Youyang, Qianjiang, Ayi River, Furong Town, and Suobuya made tourism promotion presentations successively, with detailed information on their tourism resources, recommended tour routes, special street food, and cultural history. They also brought wonderful minority dances to the media and clubs nationwide.

At the ceremony, Li Ming, Chairman of Sichuan Yixuan Pinchen Tourism Group Co., Ltd., the event organizer, gave a detailed account of the brand's original intention, vision, and planning, and reported on the preparatory work for the driving alliance of Wuling Mountains scenic areas, and released an action plan themed on "12 Two-hour Periods of Wuling" tourism IP series. The "12 Two-hour Periods of Wuling" tourism IP related products and resources are enriched by developing tourism markets of Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, Hunan, and Hubei, important tourist attractions in core areas of those provinces, and tourist attractions along with the extended areas of the loop lines of the Wuling Mountains.

After the ceremony, from April 24 to April 28, driving tour clubs and mainstream media nationwide will be organized to visit scenic areas of the Wuling Mountains, including Youyang, Qianjiang, Furong Town, and Enshi. The visit is also strongly supported by Chongqing Qianjiang District Tourism Investment and Development Co., Ltd., Chongqing Youyang County Tourism Investment Co., Ltd., Ayi River Scenic Area, Spectacular Aizhai Bridge Scenic Area, Furong Town Scenic Area, and Suobuya Scenic Area. The event takes Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei, Hunan, and Guizhou as starting points to develop different driving tour routes and tips and launches driving tour theme activities, stimulating the huge self-guided driving tour consumer group nationwide.
